Chiropractors to serve active military and disabled veterans through the Patriot Project
I am proud to announce that our Asheville Chiropractic office is one of the first in NC to join the “Patriot Project.” This is a program where doctors of chiropractic volunteer time to take care of active or wounded military personnel.
It is too early for me to say what a great thing it is as we have just signed up. However, we have big hopes for great rewards and benefits in serving our military. The sad part to me is chiropractic care is supposed to be available as a veteran’s health benefit but access to this non-drug, non-surgical care is currently restricted to only a small portions of veterans who need and desire it. The conservative care of chiropractic physicians needs to be readily available to ALL active duty military personnel.
